The Ultimate Alignment: Why I Am The Resurrection Coach
I know exactly what it looks like when the machine you built starts to crush you.
There was a time in my own life when the external metrics looked fine to everyone else, but internally, the foundation was crumbling. I was sacrificing my physical health, my sleep, and my peace of mind just to keep the daily operations afloat. I had fallen into the trap that catches almost every driven high-achiever: I completely confused what I did for a living with who I was as a man.
When the inevitable crash happened, it was a total system failure. I realized that reading another business book, trying a new marketing tactic, or patching the damage with a quick fix was no longer an option. I needed a complete, ground-up rebuild.
If you are a man who runs his own business, you understand the heavy, relentless weight of what you have built. You carry the responsibility for the outcomes, the payroll, and the constant problem-solving. But when that sustained stress forces you into a dark, quiet space where your energy is completely depleted and you no longer recognize the guy in the mirror, you can’t simply talk or think your way out of it.
You must engineer a true comeback. This is exactly why I stepped into the role of The Resurrection Coach.
The Blueprint of the Comeback
I recorded this specific episode one day after Easter. Regardless of your personal beliefs, the oldest stories in human history carry the most profound and practical blueprints for navigating our own lives. The concept of resurrection is not just a historical or spiritual narrative; it is a highly tactical framework for hitting the reset button.
To achieve a true comeback, you have to move through three distinct, non-negotiable phases:
1. The Sacrifice
You can’t become the next version of yourself while holding onto the habits of the old one. You have to willingly let the outdated version of yourself go. This means sacrificing the ego that insists you have to do everything yourself. It means dropping the late-night coping mechanisms, the poor diet, and the need to constantly be the hero of your business at the expense of your health.
2. The Wait
This is the phase where most leaders fail. Once you strip away the bad habits and the constant distraction of putting out fires, you enter a quiet space. The old habits are gone, but the new, strong foundation has not yet taken root. For a high-achiever who is used to moving fast, sitting in this quiet, uncomfortable gap is agonizing. You will be tempted to rush back into the chaos just to feel productive. You must hold the line and endure the wait.
3. The Ultimate Alignment
If you survive the wait without retreating to your old ways, you begin to rise. This is where you emerge as the strongest version of yourself. You are no longer reacting to your environment; you are dictating it. Your true identity, your physical health, and your daily actions are completely locked in and pulling in the exact same direction.
Rebuilding the Body First
When your life feels entirely out of alignment, the instinct is to search for a new business strategy to solve your internal anxiety. You think that if you just close one more deal or hire one more manager, the pressure will lift.
But you are the engine of your life. If the engine is failing, the business strategies don’t matter. The very first step to ultimate alignment is always physical. You must rebuild the body first.
Why? Because your mind is likely what got you into this mess. You used your intellect to rationalize skipping the gym, sleeping four hours a night, and ignoring your health. You can’t use the same mind that broke the system to fix it.
The body, however, does not lie. It demands honest work. Rebuilding starts by securing eight hours of sleep, demanding real, heavy physical effort from yourself in the gym, and establishing daily routines that cannot be broken. By restoring your physical strength, you force your mind to follow.
This process shifts you from a state of mere survival into a state of complete command. You stop identifying solely with the title on your business card and start securing your true identity. You have the capacity to build the strongest version of yourself, but it requires leaving the outdated version behind.
Embrace the reset, secure your health, and step into ultimate alignment.
